Roles

Innocent Role in MM2 of The Locust

Most rounds you are Innocent. No gun, no grab, just information and movement. This is the role that teaches the game.

Updated:

Innocent is the default. You live or you become a highlight. Movement rules live in How to Survive. Gun dreams live in How to Get the Gun. This page is how to think while unarmed.

Innocent brain

  1. Do not play detective in the open. Play survivor who notices things.
  2. Track who is missing, not who looks scary. The morph is obvious; the pathing is not.
  3. Stay near loops, not trophies.
  4. If Sheriff peeks you, freeze your crosshair presence: do not jump-spam in their shot.

Coins without dying

Coins exist and scripts love them. For a clean player, coins are a bonus after you know the Locust heading. Clear edge piles, skip the cube-center sparkles, and never finish a U-turn into a closet. Future equipment powers mentioned on the Roblox page will likely spend this currency, so farming matters, just not more than the timer. See items.

Social tells

Someone offering Robux in voice is Locust. Someone silently holding an angle is Sheriff or a very bored Innocent. Someone sprinting at you smiling is either a friend or a grab. Default to grab. Chat calls are noisy in 30-player servers; believe bodies, not usernames.

When the Sheriff falls, you are now the backup. Do not all rush. One pickup, everyone else makes space. That is the whole Hero essay, condensed; the long version is the gun guide. If you never want the gun, living is still a town win. Hide-spot loops: hide spots.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the searches this nest actually gets.

Can Innocents deal damage?

Only after picking up the dropped gun. Until then you are information and bait.

Should I follow the Sheriff?

At a distance. Stacking on the Sheriff makes one grab a double kill.
